Payback Pity Scam

Surely no one will fall for this stuff twice.

This scam is offering compensation to 50 lucky people who have been scammed in the past. Apparently, according to this spam, the Nigerian officials feel bad about the abuse many of us have had to endure from these horrible scammers.

Ladies and Gentlemen, if you fall for this stuff twice we sure hope you don't tell anyone.

Great site. Good coverage of scams. (I am particularly impressed with your coverage of the gracious "outreach" of the Nigerian Government, to make good for past sins of its scam artists.)
I must admit, I missed this one.

I write much, on my Blog, about just about every kind of con game known. And, I have found that lately, it's the malignant sub-prime crisis in real estate that is silently threatening to open up a whole new, nutritious can of worms for con men. Biggest threat right now, as I see it.

Do you see anything similar?

Sorry for the late reply. We haven't seen too many on the sub crime vultures as of this moment other than hungry mortgage brokers who are dying on the vine. We're sure this will change over time as the foreclosures continue.
